Wildlight is excited to announce the next Practitioner Pop Up event, featuring a new modality--Shiatsu! Keep reading to learn all about this traditional, holistic form of Japanese bodywork that focuses on restoring balance to the natural flow of energy in the bod.


How can Shiatsu benefit your health and wellbeing?

Shiatsu is a non-invasive form of therapeutic bodywork from Japan. Sessions are performed fully clothed, and the techniques uses kneading, pressing, soothing, tapping, and stretching to help reduce stress and promote optimal flow of life force energy, or “Ki”, contributing to overall wellbeing. Shiatsu has both preventative and remedial effects, and can be used in the treatment of a wide range of internal, musculoskeletal, and emotional conditions.

Shiatsu can help reduce muscle stiffness, stimulate blood flow, aid digestion, and influence the nervous system. It is used to treat a wide range of chronic conditions, such as headaches, PMS, digestive disorders, fatigue,…
