  • 30 Minute Cupping Therapy Session - $50

Cupping therapy involves the use of cups to create suction on your skin. This suction stimulates muscle and fascia tissue, increases blood flow, and helps relieve tension. Your practitioner will create a vacuum on your skin with the cups by using a manual pump. Cupping increases circulation and blood flow to the muscle tissue to help facilitate the healing process. It has a detoxifying effect on the body, and is helpful for everything from stiffness and inflammation to increasing circulation, increasing relaxation, and improving overall wellbeing.

Note: Cupping leaves marks; it’s part of the process. They vary in color and size depending on the cups used and placement.  Normally marks disappear in 2-4 days.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an ancient East Asian technique of inserting hair-thin needles into the body, in order to help to improve normal physiology and treat ailments. It is based on the premise that a blockage or disturbance in the flow of the body's life energy, or “qi,” can cause health issues. The needles encourage blood + lymph flow, restore qi, stimulate healing by activating the immune system,  regulate the central nervous system and promote relaxation.  Acupuncture treatments are customized to address the unique conditions of the individual.

What is Cupping?

Cupping Therapy is an ancient healing technique that has been practiced for centuries in China. Cupping therapy is commonly used alongside massage and acupuncture to amplify their therapeutic effects, but is also effective as a standalone treatment.  Cupping uses a cup to pull an area of skin into a suction that decompresses muscles and connective tissue. This promotes blood flow to the compromised area, enhances circulation and helps to increase the body’s own healing processes. Cupping can help with recovery from muscle fatigue, injuries, and other conditions such as digestive complaints, skin issues and respiratory problems.
