 PRACTICE MAKES
PURPOSE

As "Jivanmukti" means liberation while alive, we believe that every person on this planet deserves freedom while they're living and that the transformative, lifelong practice of yoga is the journey toward that liberation.

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline that follows an 8-Limbed pathway incorporating abstentions, observances, postures, breathing, control of sensory input, concentration, meditation, and ultimately, consciousness, unity, and bliss. An intentional, yogic practice is scientific in the way it integrates the physical, energetic, emotional, mental, and spiritual layers of the self and restores balance of the elements of nature within us to experience wholeness.

We encourage authenticity in all its forms and the radical celebration of all people with their diverse experiences, stories, and needs. So we seek to offer yogic instruction that is safe, accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for anyone who wants to practice regardless of their abilities or pre-conceived notions.

Yoga is freedom and the journey toward collective liberation is an adventure.

As a solo female-owned center for spirituality and integration, Wildlight believes in sustainable community investment, the importance of partnership for social change, the dignity and rights of workers, and in bold advocacy for those experiencing oppression and marginalization in any form.

Wildlight is committed to donating a minimum of 1% of annual revenue to organizations or initiatives that embody these values.
